Alright, so let's see...I've been gone for quite a while now haven't I?
First, let me introduce someone whose work I enjoy very much.

GreenAngel5 is one of those few artists who has nothing in their gallery that I don't like. Every single picture just astounds me! The colors, and the lines, and even proportions for when she draws humans is fantastic! So it's hard to say when one picture really catches my eye, but this one certainly drew my attention.
[link] So much, that an idea came and slapped me in the face. Why not do an art trade with her? I'd write a poem for her picture, and she'd draw a picture I wanted to have drawn....(I really do suck at drawing.)
So in her picture "Rain", you'll see in her artist's comments my poem (which I'll put up here shortly) and in her gallery (and mine) you'll see the picture I wanted drawn!
So go now my minions! Fly! Comment on how talented she is!

My summer has been nothing like I planned, but in a good way.

I've had my first college visit this past weekend and I was super excited! I went off to Colorado which is actually something I've been really missing.
Actually I've just been missing the Rocky Mountains...and the Appalachian.
And both of those nostalgic feelings will soon go away...because shortly before I go to school to start my junior year, I will drop my brother (who although he's an ass most of the time, he's my brother so I feel...well actually not sad. But I'll miss his advice on all things petty, shallow, and work related. ) anyways, I'm going to go with my mom to drop off my brother at Auburn, visit it (second college visit!) and then head to North Carolina to just...be there.
I grew up in North Carolina every summer. I miss going to camp and waking up at seven each morning, heading down to breakfast and having a cup of hot chocolate. I miss the way the forest smelled in the mornings and the way it smelled after a rainy afternoon. I actually miss the fireflies, even though I would freak out whenever they got too close to me. I miss going to my favorite, (and first) bed and breakfast and walking towards the main house where they would serve the breakfast on the dew covered grass. I think that in my heart, North Carolina will always be a home to me.
So I told my mom how I was feeling really, drastically nostalgic, (not in those exact words, but I got the point across) and she decided that maybe we could squeeze in a weekend. (If I get my work done, which shouldn't be a problem.)
Also, this summer, I've spent just the right amount of time with my friends. It seems like every other weekend I've had a friend spend the night, or I would go to the beach with them for the weekend. It's been a very perfect summer.

Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. Unless of course, it's from the Joker cause then it probably contains a bomb. note --Have a BLAST! HAHahAHaHAHaha--
